Language school in Bornheim
We are an owner-managed language school in Frankfurt Bornheim and work with adults who learn languages for work, everyday life, travel or personal goals. Grown from the Pasolini Sprachschule, ForumLingua combines language courses in Frankfurt with experience in language travel to Italy, Spain, England and France.
The school is located in the centre of Frankfurt Bornheim, directly on Berger Strasse and easy to reach by public transport. Bright, quiet and well-kept rooms create a pleasant learning environment.
Qualified native speakers
Our teachers are native speakers with academic qualifications and many years of experience in adult education. Some also bring specialist vocabulary from fields such as business and tourism.
Many are additionally qualified for integration courses, professional language courses and German as a foreign language exams.
Before the course starts, we offer personal advice and placement. During the course, teachers and academic management keep an eye on learning progress.
How we teach
From the beginning, the target language is used in class. Speaking and practical use are central.
Communicative approach
The foreign language is the classroom language. The focus is on speaking and using new language in realistic everyday situations.
Varied materials
Course books, worksheets, audio and video material and training apps complement the lessons and support flexible learning.
Four language skills
Reading, listening, speaking, writing and grammar are connected so that progress becomes usable in real communication.
Learning in small groups
To create a personal and efficient learning atmosphere, our language courses usually have only 3 to 8 participants.
We also offer private lessons and 2-to-1 lessons for learners who want a more intensive course or very specific content.
A1 to C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference
For each level, around 60-120 lesson units are planned. This is an orientation, because every learner progresses differently.
Basic level: first everyday conversations and practical language for simple situations.
Intermediate level: more independent speaking, longer texts and more detailed grammar.
Advanced level: complex content, precise expression and confident discussion.
Certificates for the level reached can be issued on request. We also prepare learners for official exams.
Our language offer
We teach English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German as a foreign language, Turkish, Russian and Arabic.
